The lights are on, but nobody is home!

I'm on holidays this week, home Friday, the off to San Francisco on Sunday for work adulting. This week was sandcastles, icecream, water slides, way too much coffee, kids' discos every night, dad dancing, sun cream on bald spots, in bed by 10pm. A great week! My four year old has been Spiderman for most of the week, how he sticks that nylon onsie i will never know. There was no AI, no ViDA, nothing, which seldom happens. A genuinely funny story from the week, one that AI will never replace, a man on the promenade selling 'unofficial' replica jerseys, the usual Real Madrid and Barcelona ones, and somehow, inexplicably, a Westmeath one. Asked him how on earth he ended up with that. Told me, wry smile and all, that he'd had to restock it twice once Westmeath started their winning streak. His GAA knowledge was very impressive so I gave him all my money. Genuinely one of the great customer service experiences. Meanwhile askcolm.com has been running the whole time without me touching it. Articles still coming in, still getting tagged, still going out. It is strange to be this disconnected from something and have it just keep working. Back Friday. Tax resumes shortly after, unfortunately.
